That beautiful little girl above is one of my two grandchildren. Her name is Hannah and she’s 15 months old. She lives in Georgia so I’ve only been able to see her three times. But she’s such a joy in my life.

What are you grateful for?

We take so much for granted and I was thinking about it this weekend. We should be grateful for every moment for we don’t know how many moments we have. We should be grateful for family for some don’t have family. We should be grateful for our homes for some have no home. We should be grateful for health for some are in hospitals.

Here’s a few things I am grateful for:

  • God, without whom I’d be nothing
  • My husband, Rocky; My children, Cory, Patrick, Chris and Ryan; My grandchildren, Charity and Hannah
  • My dog, Toot
  • My life and the fact I can work from home, doing what I love to do (I’m a virtual assistant)
  • My health
  • My home
  • My family (my mom, stepdad, sisters, and all my wonderful in-laws)
  • My friends

In a society that is filled with negativity, I choose to be grateful. So think about what you’re grateful for today!

Here’s my first personal blog.

I have a business blog (please feel free to check it out), but I decided I wanted a place to write my thoughts, perspectives, feelings on things non-business. We all have things going on throughout the day that need to be expressed – just not in a professional forum. So that’s what this is for.
